TF2: Dodgeball

I'm sure quite a few of you know/play TF2. IMO it's a great game with lots of variety thanks to Valve regularly updating it and allow the community to customise it.

Recently I've been getting into a slightly different "gaming style" in TF2. A.K.A I've started playing dodge-ball.
For any of you that have never seen/played it, basically its an open map with generally no obstacles expect perhaps a barrier in the middle and some insta-kill pits. All players are forced to be pyros and no matter if they have backburner or the regular flamethrower, they have airblast available. Somewhere in the map, normally high in the middle, there is a entity which spawns rockets. These rockets don't just go straight though, they can curve and will auto-aim at different players. The objective of the game is to reflect the rocket and wipe out the enemy team. Yes, this does mean the game mode is based on area (no respawns).
Occasionally a rocket won't spawn but instead a "nuke" will spawn. These have the payload bomb model and when they explode, deal more damage over a larger radius.

Want to see more? Here's a video of some dodgeball gameplay I found on youtube:

  2. @theblog0

Since Valve added all the class updates, TF2 hasn't died. If anything, it's grown.
And it is fun. Very fun. If you enjoyed it before you'll enjoy it more now I'd say. Though a few weapons are a bit OP.
